This note summarises what has reached the live development servers since 7 October. Valkron Online is now built for phones first. The closed beta will be on Android; no date has been announced yet.
Built for phones
- A touch movement stick, a skill ring and target selection. Buttons scale to the physical size of the screen.
- A 30 FPS (battery) and a 60 FPS option in the settings. On one of our test phones the frame rate went from about 28 to 56.
- OTO auto-hunt fights nearby monsters for you and stops as soon as you touch the movement stick.
- Mage area skills: a tap casts on the selected enemy, holding opens an aiming area with a range ring.
- If the connection drops and “Remember this account on this device” is on, the game tries to bring you straight back to the same character.
PvP
- A Colony Zone war hour every day from 21:30 to 22:30 (Turkey time), plus 15:00 to 16:00 at weekends. Zone control rewards are doubled during the war hour.
- Ranked arena: 1v1 and 3v3 matches in the Gordon Arena, with rating, titles and a monthly season. Season rewards arrive in the in-game mailbox.
- Scheduled 3v3 arena: sign-up opens 10 minutes before the match.
- Daily PvP tasks, with rewards delivered to the mailbox.
- Duels: challenge a nearby player and fight it out on the spot if they accept.
Community and economy
- Clans and a friends list, with adding a friend by name.
- A party finder and joining a group with a party code.
- A player market: list an item and it can sell while you are offline.
- Blocking and player reports.
Security and your account
- The connection between the game and the servers is now encrypted.
- One session per account: signing in on another device closes the old session.
- Movement and speed checks on the server side.
- Privacy consent at registration and account deletion from inside the game.
What comes next
The remaining gaps before the closed beta are being closed, and the game will then be tested and signed off separately inside the team. The closed beta starts on Android once that testing is approved. The announcement will be posted here in News.
