Account Deletion
Valkron Online is a game project developed and operated by Valkron Online.
From inside the game
Sign in to Valkron Online and open SETTINGS > Gameplay > ACCOUNT > Delete my account. You are asked for your password once more. Once you confirm, the account is closed at once and can no longer sign in.
If you cannot sign in
Send an email with the subject “Account deletion” to the address below. Include your account name and character name. If an email address is registered on the account, write from that address. We may ask for more details to confirm the account is yours. We process the request within 30 days.
What is deleted
The account and its password hash, the registered email, all characters, inventory, bags, bank, skills and hotbar, quest progress, friend and clan records, market listings and the mailbox.
Timing and what is kept
After the request the account stays closed for 30 days. During that time you can cancel the deletion by writing to the same address. After 30 days the data is permanently deleted. It also leaves our backup copies within a further 30 days.
Some records are not deleted and are kept for a set time. The record of the deletion request and of the account closure, the connection and error records kept for security (IP address, sign-in time, a hashed device identifier), the record of your acceptance of the privacy notice and Valkron Points (VP) transactions are kept for up to 2 years. They are kept to prevent abuse and to meet legal obligations. Gameplay statistics stored under a pseudonymous ID are kept for up to 180 days, the server’s technical logs for up to 7 days.
